Jet skis can be driven at sea, for example, on Nazaré Beach, as well as on lagoons or reservoirs. This is the case of the Castelo de Bode Reservoir.
They can also be driven by one person who is the only occupant or they can transport two people.
One of the places not to be missed is the Ílhavo Nautical Station. The Municipality of Ílhavo has excellent natural conditions for the practice of water sports and leisure. Seven kilometres of Atlantic coast, the access bar to the largest port in the Central Region of Portugal, and doubly crossed by the channels of the Ria de Aveiro, natural amphitheatres for nautical activities, give it an enormous sporting versatility for both beginners and experienced practioners. A network of different nautical facilities is installed here (from the Port of Aveiro to small anchorages), globally equipped with the necessary equipment and services: space for docking, energy, water, waste treatment, sanitary facilities and changing rooms, winches and /or travel lifts, etc. As a unique feature, this is where the Farol (lighthouse) da Barra is located (the tallest in Portugal and one of the tallest in the world).
