Taking a boat trip in Central Portugal is an unforgettable experience.
In this area there are numerous places where you can take boat trips and river cruises. The Zêzere and Mondego rivers are good for boat trips. Castelo de Bode dam and the Ria de Aveiro are great for the same purpose, among many other places.
For example, known as the Queen of Beaches in Portugal, Figueira da Foz offers its visitors an entire historical and cultural heritage and an immensity of golden sandy beaches, where the waves create moments of sublime contemplation. With about 12 beaches considered excellent for practising various water sports and sea promenade, Figueira da Foz has high quality waves with different types of bottoms, with Cabedelo's wave, a sandy bottom, referenced as one of the most consistent in Europe. Leisurely moments on the Mondego River can be fantastic, not forgetting the cliffs of Cabo Mondego which extraordinarily transport us to prehistoric times.
